लोकनाथं, शोक – शूल – निर्मूलिनं, शूलिनं मोह – तम – भूरि – भानुं ।
O Lord, Purari, you saved all Deities and mankind by defeating and destroying the demons Tripurasur. You blessed your devotee Bhagirath and he was in a position to accomplish his Vow following demanding penance.
आप जलंधर असुर संहारा। सुयश तुम्हार विदित संसारा॥
कंबु – कुंदेंदु – कर्पूर – गौरं शिवं, सुंदरं, सच्चिदानंदकंदं ।
ॠनियां जो कोई हो अधिकारी। पाठ करे सो पावन हारी॥
नित्त नेम कर प्रातः ही, पाठ करौं चालीसा।
